My third fill

I went to Dr Metz's for my fill on Friday. It went quite well. His PA did it, I asked her to take a look at my wound too. She looked at it, then had Dr Metz come in and look at it. I might not have met him otherwise (that doesn't thrill me...I really like to see a doctor when I go) I really can't complain about his PA though, she was very pleasant and got me in one poke.

Kayleigh was so funny. She wanted to be right up there seeing what was going on. I asked her if she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She said no, when I asked her what she wants to be she said "a kitty". It's amazing how a 4 year old's mind works!!!

Dr Metz has a post fill protocol of 2 days of liquids, 2 days of soft food then back to regular food on the 5th day, so I will not be back to eating "real" food till Tuesday. I am hoping this couple days of liquids (and the fill) jump starts my weight loss. I can't wait to hit that 40. I am looking at increments of 50 as my short term goal. But right now I will settle for 40!!!!

I have been putting in job applications online. I am not quite ready to go back to work, but I figure it's not like most places are going to call and hire me tomorrow. I really don't want to go back to work, but we need the money, and those damn lottery people keep calling the wrong numbers ;)))

Kayleigh has a week off of preschool the end of October. I am trying to decide if we should fly back to MI then. That would really put off my getting a job, but my grandmother is in quite bad shape, and I wonder if I should bring Kayleigh so she can see her "one more time" before the end. I hate even thinking about that eventuality, but I know it is a fact. I just don't know what to do....

That's about all the news that's fit to print for now. I will post again soon (hopefully saying I have lost 40 pounds!!!!)

Tell me how your third fill feels after a couple of weeks. I go for my second one tomorrow, and I'm hoping they'll be a bit more aggressive. I love how 4-year olds think. If I could be my kitties, I would. They're spoiled rotten!

Hi Julie,
This is cakes from lapbandtalk.com
you responded to my thread about changing my life. You made me laugh and I liked what you had to say so I checked out your blogg. Again I laughed my arse off. You have a great way of expressing yourself. I have a 3yr old who is just as funny and sweet as your little one. Speak to you soon.
